From idea to object
I do not always begin with the ideal materials, tools or a perfectly defined plan. I assess what is available, break the idea into steps, test, correct and continue until the result is genuinely usable.
The story
The potion laboratory reflects my approach: create a coherent atmosphere from simple objects, repurpose what already exists and check the result in its final environment.
The Korean-inspired panels required a decorative reference to be converted into realistic measurements, cuts and assemblies. The magic-wand display units were designed to remain easy to open, fill, transport and install. The Harley Quinn hammer evolved around the materials available and the constraints of the costume.
Shorter projects follow the same logic: clarify the intended effect, use existing materials, test a solution and refine the finish.
What I take from it
Creativity becomes truly useful when it produces a workable, robust and understandable solution from a constraint.
